1957 Supercharged Ford Thunderbird “F-Bird”

Gwen’s 1957 Supercharged Ford Thunderbird, also known as the “F-Bird,” holds special sentimental value, as it recalls memories of the Thunderbird her mother drove while taking Gwen and her sister to Friends’ Central School in Philadelphia. This particular model, equipped with a factory supercharged V8, is one of the rarest and most powerful Thunderbirds of the era.
Tom and Gwen’s first outing in this stunning roadster was during the 2016 California Mille, where they enjoyed driving the car along scenic routes, much like the ones Gwen remembers from her childhood. The F-Bird is not just a piece of automotive history—it’s a personal connection to the past for the Price family, making it an irreplaceable part of their collection.
This vehicle was graciously donated to the Price Automotive Museum by Tom Price on December 31, 2024.
